Cor Capriccio Children’s Choir
​The children’s choir is a non-auditioned ensemble for children in 2nd through 5th grade. Directed by Elizabeth Clifton, the choir meets on Wednesdays at St. John's Lutheran Church, Poughkeepsie, NY, from 5:30 - 6:30 pm. Learn more about the choir. Cappella Festiva Chamber Choir
The Chamber Choir is an auditioned mixed ensemble of 70-80 adult singers, SATB. Directed by Christine Howlett, Cappella rehearses Monday evenings from 7:15-9:15 pm in the Vassar College Chapel, Poughkeepsie, NY. Members pay $200 per year to participate in the ensemble; there is an additional fee for the cost of music. Auditions are typically held at the end of August and the beginning of January every year. Boys and Girls Club Choir of Poughkeepsie
Under the musical direction of Melinda Aaron, the Boys & Girls Club Chorus is a non-auditioned choir for children grades 3-6. Children experience the joy of expressing themselves through singing. This program is supported by the Boys and Girls Club of Poughkeepsie, Community Foundations of the Hudson Valley, and Cappella Festiva.
