In a new work by Celia McDowall for choir and orchestra, Music of the Stars explores light, resilience, and transcendence through a diverse selection of texts and music. From divine protection and peace to hope and perseverance, the program reflects both individual experiences and our collective journey.

The program also includes music by Buxtehude, Rheinberger, Mendelssohn, Susan LaBarr, Jennifer Lucy Cook, Marques L.A. Garrett, Shawn Kirchner, Karen Marrolli, and Saro Lynch-Thomason.
